Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson knew that there would be no turning back once they got together in their Hamburg church. Ashley, who was seventeen at the time, and had never been in an affair before, decided to take her time. The love was apparent from the their first meeting. The day before New Year's Eve right ahead of the year's beginning, Andrew requested God to bless him with one last thing that is the year... in the hope that Ashley would say yes and marry him. Ashley had always wanted a romantic, woodsy traditional wedding that reflected her as well as Andrew. Their wedding day included the many things they love. Ashley grew in the 40-acre land that was picked as the location for their wedding. Ashley took a tour of the area and had fun on it all, from the route they took to the field where the couple exchanged vows. Andrew and Ashley had also walked the area multiple times before they started dating. The importance of personalization was that Andrew and Ashley did the majority of the work themselves. Andrew's father as well as Ashley and Ashley made both the ceremony arch and the arches for the seats. Ashley made and painted several of the wedding decors. Ashley says that we would have never had the magic wedding I had imagined if we hadn't had Anna's flower designs. Absolutely stunning.
